You frown from jolt of pain in your head as you try to recall your past. You can’t be sure, but something subconscious tells you that you must find this secret place. Perhaps you could learn about your past. You hack into the Elevator system with surprising ease, and find a way to get there.
RRRRR…
As you press the elevator buttons in the right sequence, you hear the low sound of motor and feel it moving. On the panel that shows which floor, a red ‘X’ has lit up.
THUMP.
Elevator comes to a full stop, and the door opens.
It’s dark and quiet in here. You smell some foul stench. In front of you is another door, a heavily rusted metal one. You suddenly feel a chill going down your spine, and your mouth feels dry. Yet, you bite your lips down and take a step forward.

3. Someone has been helping you to get inside the building
The first fact is very clear, judging by the fact you woke up with a half busted head in the back of a truck. The second fact is more of an assumption at this point, judging by the clues you found in the Parking Lot. What is weird is the third fact.
Who was that helping me with all the clues? No, who the heck AM I? Why am I being chased by these people?
With doubts after doubts clouding your mind, you get on the elevator.
GO TO THE 5th FLOOR
That was the message you found in the Parking Lot. Could this be a trap? Still with doubts in mind but realizing the only way is to go forward, you raise your hand slowly and reach for the 5th floor button.

You try to remember how you got here, but you can’t remember anything. You can’t even remember your own name and who you are. Panic sets in, and with another jolting pain in your head you gasp for air. Now that you’ve become aware of your surroundings, you realize that back of your head is throbbing as if someone had smashed it with a club.
Few minutes pass before you get used to the pain. Your instinct tells you that instead of lying around the floor with both hands tied, you should first get yourself out of this mess. Oddly enough, with a new goal set in place, you feel your mind clearing, and body bursting with energy.

You choose to travel to planet Mars in year 2034 and operate your dad’s time machine that creates a timeportal through which you walk in.
You arrive in a room covered in soft white light. From how the walls are illuminated and the overall simple futuristic decor, you presume you must be in some kind of a spacecraft. You’ve only just begun to look around the seemingly empty room, when a hologram in shape of a person appears before your eyes.

According to the hologram, which works as both a security guard and tour guide, this spacecraft ‘Pleiades’ is on a mission to build the first human colony in Mars. However due to gigantic sandstorm, it crash-landed off course. In order to fix the spacecraft, you must find parts and power source from the other spacecraft ‘Discovery’ that had left Earth 20 years ago with supplies and is stranded somewhere nearby. Aboard ‘Pleiades’ are 100 crew who have not been woken up from their sleep pods due to low power. If you don’t find and switch out the power source within the next 75 minutes, all life support devices on the ship will go off and everyone, including you and the crew, will die. As you operate your time machine, a now familiar sight appears in front of you. Accompanied by gushes of wind and dazzling blue energy whirling in circular motion, you step into the wormhole.

As you step out of the wormhole on the otherside, you can’t believe your own eyes. Oh my god. WHat had happened? What could have gone wrong? Could this be the reason why your father had been trying so desperately to stop you from time traveling..?

Walking out of the time portal, you find yourself inside of a stern looking concrete office building. This must be the CIA Headquarters, the greatest intelligence agency in the World that feeds information to the American president ! Your sense of pride in having infiltrated the CIA vanishes quickly as the siren goes off and you are immediately surrounded by the CIA agents with guns pointing directly at you. The agents take you to a familiar room you’ve seen many times in the movies where cops question criminals.
“Who are you, what is your name, and how did you get inside?”
You choose to play dumb and exercise the right to remain silent as you’ve seen in the movies. The agents are getting agitated and beginning to lose patience when suddenly, the siren goes off again. The agents are noticeably shaken, and they soon rush out of the room while yelling something through the microphones connected to their ears.
Could this be a trap? The door to the interrogation room is still locked. You think this could be your chance to escape. Let’s seize it before the agents are back!

The only thing that breaks this deadly silence is the cackling of a single candle burning above the large dining table. You can’t quite put a finger on it, but something about this house feels unnatural. You wonder just what the heck your old man was doing in a creepy place like this.

You spin around to see what just made that sound from behind you. There is nothing but the wall and an old painting of a pale woman looking straight at you with an eerie smile on her face. You feel the hair rising on the back of your neck. The time portal will close automatically in 1 hour. You decide to hurry up and find what clues you can of your dad and get out of this god forsaken place.

First thing you notice is the vast amount of lush vegetation all around you, immediately followed by a thick wall of heat and suffocating humidity. You also notice countless birds chirping in the background and monkeys howling in the distance above the trees. This must be the Amazon rainforest.
You start desperately looking for any clues that could be left by your dad. The time portal will only hold for 1 hour so you must hurry up and get back, otherwise you will be stranded alone in the vast Amazonian rainforest to God knows what end.
Then, behind a large tree you find a backpack, and inside archaeology tools and supplies for a single traveler. It must be him ! In your dad’s last letter you found in the 1988 Room he talked about discovering an ancient Incan city of Gold. Could that be true ? You have 1 hour to find out.

You’ve disguised as a middle aged single traveler and boarded the train at a stop-over station. As an Interpol agent, you’ve been tracking down this bloodless killer for the past few years, and you feel that the end is near.
This is it. I can finally put an end to this great evil.
Unable to fall asleep, you were quietly jotting down some notes about other passengers in the dining car.

After hanging up the phone, you still feel uneasy about the conversation. Does your boss really believe your innocence? Would you be able to escape the country with a new passport and new life .. ?
